Sydney Hearn is an undergraduate student studying Illustration, Design and Animation at the University of Arizona School of Art. She is also pursuing a minor in Business Administration. She will graduate with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2026.
Sydney was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She has lived with her family in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, since September 2023. She has attended the University of Arizona since 2022, and in the spring of 2025 she studied abroad in Rome, Italy for a semester.
In the summer of 2025, she worked as a marketing intern for Broughton Partners, where she redesigned their sales collateral and helped refresh the brand identity. When she returned to Tucson in August, she began working as a creative intern for Arizona Athletics, where she designs social graphics and works on the field and in the control room at games and events.
Sydney is focused on pursuing a career in graphic design and illustration. She has experience working in the Adobe Creative Suite and is proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. She also has experience in several CAD software programs, including Autodesk Revit, Onshape, and PTC Creo.
Outside of school, Sydney is passionate about the environment and being outdoors, as well as fashion and sustainability. She enjoys reading, traveling, and trying new foods.
